Mélanie Jouet
Project and communication manager
Mélanie began her university studies in France with a Bachelor’s degree in modern literature from Rennes 2 University, followed by a Master’s degree in cultural project management and digital technologies from ESTHUA in Angers. At the same time, she took on a six-year municipal mandate as Pont-Péan’s delegate for associative and cultural life, working with local associations and the municipality’s cultural space to set up artistic and cultural projects.
In 2017, she was charmed by life in Quebec during her end-of-studies internship at the Festival international de la chanson de Granby, to which she returns every summer for short-term assignments. In 2019, after two years as assistant director for a jazz festival in Central Brittany, she decided to move to Granby, then to Montreal. She worked for four years at Festival Accès Asie as project and communications manager, a position that she has now taken up at Molior since November 2024.
