Curatorial Residency Program in Mexico
Mexico City, Mexico
From February 6th to 19th, 2023
Curator
Daphné Boxer
From February 6th to 19th, Quebec curator Daphné Boxer will be in residency in Mexico, where she will be hosted by our partner ACT.
This is the firest-ever networking and support program for curators between Quebec and Mexico. This residency is both a professional development project, a network relationship consolidation, a discovery of artistic approaches and an opportunity to be inspired by creative activities from elsewhere in view of developing future exhibition projects.
Daphné Boxer is an independent curator based in Montreal, Canada. Her most recent research focuses on architecture and the impact of new technologies on urban and cultural environments. In 2016, she co-founded VIE D’ANGE, an independent project space that focuses on site-specific installations. In recent years, she has collaborated with artists on a wide range of exhibitions and projects as contributor, writer and curator. Working collaboratively is a key component of her practice.
